We like to think we have made Aniaid an easy site to use. Sometimes however, like us, we understand you may need a little clarification on things.

Please have a look at the list below of some of the questions we receive from our community.
Should your question not be in the list, please click on email icon bottom right of this page to send us a message and we will be happy to help.

Absolutely!
We have invested heavily in the technology of SSL Encryption (Secure Sockets Layer), which we apply throughout the site so we can protect our users' information. Transferred data cannot be read or modified by third parties. If you want to read more about our SSL certificate, please click on the small padlock in the address field in your browser window.
Aniaid Data Centres are among the safest and most modern in the world. Due to multiple geo-redundant connections to major Internet hubs, Aniaid can offer close to 100% availability. Sophisticated security measures also ensure data protection to the highest standards as our data centres and networks are ISO 27001:2013 certified.

We have zero tolerance when it comes to people misusing Aniaid by submitting false reports and/or bullying innocent people. We fully cooperate with local law enforcement to avoid this misuse.

You must adhere to your local privacy and data protection laws plus our Community Guidelines at all times.
We take all reports very seriously. Sometimes however, we do see reports in breach of our community guidelines. Should this be the case, they will most likely be deleted. It is extremely important you adhere to your local privacy and data protection laws.
We believe circumstances change and are hopeful they are for the better for the animal. Should this not be the case, you can create a new report.
Firstly try and post a comment in the report with why you believe the report is false. Usually the report will be deleted by the community member who created it if just a misunderstanding. Should this not work, please click on the "REPORT POST" in the detailed report.
Our username is "aniaid" and our email address is hello@aniaid.org - Should you be contacted by anyone else pretending to be from Aniaid not using these, please do not engage in conversation but instead contact us and we will deal with it accordingly.
There are two main reasons:

1. We rely on our community members placing the Aniaid paw-pin in the exact location of the report. Simply by typing the address will not show an accurate location.

2. Aniaid.org is not about "naming and shaming" as this will not achieve much in our view. Our key purpose is to help animals in need and do so through our amazing community reporting such cases. This way, other local members can keep an eye out to try an ensure the animals safety.
